Fish Rod And Tackle Storage

I was painting and doing the carpets in the room where I keep my fishing gear.I thought I would give an idea to someone looking for a little project if they need rod and tackle storage.I used 3/4" Birch plywood for the base and the shelfs then pine for the posts and decorative trim.Combining the wood, stain, putty, rod clips, wood screws, finish nails, and urethane it was $80-$90 approx.to complete(it holds 14 rods).I might add some sides later on.

Nice work. I made a rod rack for the ceiling in my garage. I'll have to see if I have a picture of it

This was the first stage of it. I think I have about 2/3 more storage up there now days.

Nice,I thought about doing that for my sisters garage but put it on the side wall for easier access.I have a carport that I hope to eventually turn into a garage.I have an unfinished upstairs that I use for storage since I don't have a garage.

I ran out of room on the walls, adding cabinets and hooks to hang packs and snow shoes and the sort.
